Sew your own reusable holiday gift bags for a double win: avoid sending additional paper to the landfill, and create a stock of heirloom pieces to pull out year after year. We’ll walk you through the process of sewing a fully lined drawstring bag - and talk about how to scale the pattern up and down for different-sized bags.
Basic machine sewing experience required. Please bring three fat-quarters of your preferred fabrics in addition to two yards of ½” ribbon or twill tape (we have ribbon if you need!). We’ll get through one entire bag, but if you’re a speedy sewer, bring some extra fabric to crank through some more!
