Meets Thursdays, October 1, 8, 15, and 22 from 12 - 2 PM
As a landscape painter, Kim Weineck has learned valuable principles in creating interesting work of this time-honored subject. In this class we’ll focus on art history, composition, value, perspective, and general how-to in making our landscapes extraordinary! Say more with your landscapes and strengthen your artistic voice along the way.
Any medium is welcome, from oils to ink, pen, and paper - and feel welcome to change it up week to week if you like! Students are responsible for bringing surfaces for painting landscapes and a sketchbook/drawing materials.
About the instructor:
Kim Morin Weineck is an artist endlessly inspired by nature with the good fortune of hailing from an immensely creative family of painters, chefs, potters, carpenters, writers, and actors. A graduate of MassArt with distinction, she paints loosely realistic work in all mediums and subjects, with a special focus on landscapes. Kim lives in Norfolk, MA with her husband and two teen daughters and loves to instruct others about painting.
