Meets Mondays, October 5, 12*, 19, and 26 from 7 - 9 PM
Explore all the core concepts of painting in this class. When you understand the materials, techniques, and guiding principles, you’ll enjoy making paintings! Open to all levels from beginner to expert. Through demonstrations and practical exercises, we’ll cover color theory, brushwork, composition, and the vocabulary of painting.
A list of supplies will be emailed at the time of registration. Students are responsible for providing all paints, brushes, surfaces, etc.
About the instructor:
Kim Morin Weineck is an artist endlessly inspired by nature with the good fortune of hailing from an immensely creative family of painters, chefs, potters, carpenters, writers, and actors. A graduate of MassArt with distinction, she paints loosely realistic work in all mediums and subjects, with a special focus on landscapes. Kim lives in Norfolk, MA with her husband and two teen daughters and loves to instruct others about painting.
